The contract giving the green light to the second phase of development of Dubrovnik airport was signed. The county mayor, Nikola Dobroslavic attended the signing of the development grant from EU funds to proceed with financing the second phase of ‘’Development of Dubrovnik Airport’’. The signing was attended by Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic, the Minister of Sea, Transport and Infrastructure Oleg Butkovic and Dubrovnik Airport Director Roko Tolic.

The signed contract enables the continuation of the second phase of the upgrades and renovation of Dubrovnik Airport and has a financial value of 1,54 billion kuna. This grant will enable the development of the majority of the projects related to reconstruction of the already existing buildings, the built of additional infrastructure and additional multi-story garage and bridges.

The project of reinvention, restauration and expansion of the Dubrovnik Airport racks up more than 2,1 billion kuna and will transform the busy airport in to the centre of all activity in Konavle near Dubrovnik.
